handmade electric violins, violas and cellos
The main electric violin models I manufacture are Alien, Classic and Easy. I offer the Classic and Easy models in 4 and 5 string versions, the Alien violin in 4, 5, 6, 7 or eventually 8 string versions. Each instrument is manufactured individually, some parameters may therefore be adjusted to suit your requirements. Delivery time is approximately 4 weeks. You can order by e-mail or order form.
The bodies of all instruments are manufactured from quality ripe maple wood. The fingerboards and fittings are made of ebony. The instruments are fitted with piezo pickups which are located under the bridge. The violin has a built-in preamplifier (except for the passive version of the Easy violin) which has been designed and adjusted with regard to the piezo pickups used. The preamplifier is powered by a 9V battery which has a battery life of about half a year. I manufacture the instruments in various dyes – according to the customer's needs – take a look at the gallery for inspiration. Each instrument comes with a solid case and all products are covered under 5-year warranty.
The Alien II violin has a partly modified body shape.
Thanks to the modifications the instrument is about 100 g lighter.
Because of the massive frame and oil tuning mechanics, you will appreciate its stable and comfortable tuning.
Although oil tuning mechanics are heavier compared to the traditional violin pegbox, the instrument is well balanced thanks to the placement of the mechanics behind the bridge.

Compared to the previous Easy version, the Easy II violin has a new body frame and a slightly adjusted design. Thanks to the modifications it is lighter and weighs only slightly more than a classical instrument.
The instrument is offered in active version (with built-in preamplifier which is powered by a 9V battery).
